How To Run Locally For Development?

I've cloned the repo and wanted to maybe try contributing to the project, but I'm unfamiliar with developing in GO. I've run the go build command, but I'm not sure what to do next in order to run it and test the changes I'll be making. Can anyone walk me through this?

Edit: Didn't realize I needed to simply run the binary that the build command made. For every change I make, do I have to rerun the build command or is there and easy way to just save the changes and have them appear immediately, like in most frontend frameworks?

You have to rebuild every time, but the builds are quite fast after the first build.

Sounds good, I'll just do that then. I'm not very familiar with Go or this project, but would something like this work in this case? https://github.com/air-verse/air Not sure if it's worth looking into or not.
