You should be able to buy pastureland for about 5-10x what a regular plot costs. If you have pastureland, you can buy livestock - cows, pigs, sheep, bees, horses, llamas, etc.

Some livestock - bees, cows, sheep - might give you continuous income from products. Others you would have to sell to get money.

Like with crops, you would have to water and feed your animals regularly, or they will die.
