Gala seems to be using lots of cpu, every 3-4 seconds it spikes from about 2-3% cpu usage, to 20%, along another 20% of the open app that it currently serves its window management services.
Additionally, the ram usage is high at 140 MB...
Steps to Reproduce
Install gnome-system-monitor (or any other app)
launch the app
notice the cpu usage going up and down every few seconds
Expected Behavior
To have lower cpu and ram usage when parked
OS Version
8.x (Early Access)
Session Type
Classic Session (X11, This is the default)
Software Version
Latest release (I have run all updates)
Here's the up and down graph of the cpu usage even when nothing else is loaded
