Making a separate issue for this as it requires a lot more work. It would be nice if you could rebuild the original ISO with the source code, but that would require rebuild support on nod which is a whole rabbit hole.

  • Configuration file if original ISO doesn't exist
    • Table of Contents (file order/offset is nondeterministic and affects read speed and stability in certain games, see the nkit debacle)
    • Junk ID (6 characters, almost always matches GameID)
  • Wii Partitions
  • Wii Encryption
  • Downstream File Modifications (e.g. F-Zero and Animal Crossing can post-process other files on disc and those need to be included as part of dtk's config/rebuild)
