It would be nice if somewhere on the wiki there was documentation about how to make map labels.
Perhaps a new page called CreatingLabels?

Brainstorm:

... is that all one needs?

Font I think is Zapfino, size 18.
I've been able to successfully make labels (you're supposed to use GIMP), but the guide I used seems to have disappeared, and it's questionable whether that was actually the correct way - though it looks consistent with other labels.
It's too bad there are no asset files for labels...

You'd have to get confirmation from the artists on all this though first, because I'm not sure about it and for some crazy reason I deleted my asset files because they weren't needed

Actually no, just checked and I kept the svgs!
You're supposed to use Inkscape.

successfully make labels

That name sounds like Robin Williams playing a board game 🎲

Zapfino

Well, if Apple and Linotype are involved that's not FOSS-friendly. sudo apt install fonts-<Tab> shows 536 options, none with a Z. Inkscape or Gimp installers won't add it either.

Hmm, that's interesting. It's definitely Zapfino though, and fits in perfectly.
I do wonder, though, because Daeridanii uses Arch Linux.

(Also, the font size is 32)
