Even pdfrx 0.4.46+ only supports Flutter 3.16/Dart 3.2.3 or later. Need some help to deal with older Flutter project. |

Thank you very much. I saw the example which focuses on prompting the user to enter the password, but my use case is to just provide the password directly without prompting users to enter it. Also, I'm curious, since the file is downloaded from the internet then saved to the user's device/extracting the Uint8List data and passing it to the reader, does it require passing the passwords when saving and extracting Uint8List data? As a PDF expert, is my curiosity valid? Sorry for back & forth questions. |

To provide a simple password, the following oneline is enough: final document = await PdfDocument.openFile(f, passwordProvider: () => 'password');
Do you want to decrypt PDF on save? If so, technically it is possible if the PDF file allows it. But pdfrx anyway does not support such feature so far. Just to view PDF files, you should pass password everytime you want to open PDF file. |

Thank you, this is enough. The document is being encrypted on upload on the backend. If, while downloading and saving it on the device, it does not require a password to do so, and only replicating the data from the backend, then that is what I want. Only on opening the PDF is where the password is required. If some bad users discover the temp directory where the PDF is being stored and open the file, then they need to enter the password. So, the PDF is encrypted always. |

Thank you. It must have been a cached version. After restarting the PC, it works well now, but I encountered another issue. I have the following code: Initially, my app downloads the PDF from the internet and stores it on the device. After the installation is complete, if it's a downloaded version, we leave it there and use the bits of data extracted from the internet to render the PDF with the code below. However, we first check if the file exists; if it does, then we load it directly from the device. My challenge is passing the document method to the PDF viewer, as the only option is to use PdfPageView, which is the only method expecting a document as an argument. Additionally, after displaying the data, it doesn't offer the benefits that the PDFViewer has, such as zoom, search, and link. So, how can I achieve the desired effect from this point? PdfPageView does not have zooming or such features. You should use PdfViewer for such features. |

Thank you for the response.. I think you read my question wrong. So simply the ask is how to pass the downloaded pdf as document method on PdfViewer instead of passing it as url or asset in PdfViewer?. |
