Push-notifications to Notify Tokenholders about Inactive Delegates

Hey everyone,

We are Team Chora Club, we are a community-driven learning platform that bridges the gap between new users and experienced delegates in the Web3 ecosystem. Our goal is to foster a supportive environment where learning is personalized and community connections are prioritized.

We are excited to claim the issue titled "Push-notifications to Notify Tokenholders about Inactive Delegates" from the Optimism contribution list and we will be integrating it in our DApp Chora Club.

Why integrating this feature into Chora Club is helpful?

Adding this feature to Chora Club will create a more dynamic, engaging and personalized governance experience for our users. It aligns perfectly with our mission of empowering users by providing them with transparency and control over their governance participation. By notifying tokenholders about their delegate’s voting activity, we encourage greater accountability and involvement, which strengthens both individual and community-level participation.

Our goal is to implement the following features as outlined in the issue:

We will notify tokenholders whether their delegate has been voting in recent rounds and provide them with an option to re-delegate based on that information.

Planned Features

• Notify OP tokenholders regarding their delegate's voting activity.
• Trace the delegation path of tokenholders, showing to whom they have delegated tokens.
• Allow tokenholders to easily re-delegate if their delegate has been inactive.
• Track re-delegation events, capturing whether tokenholders change their delegation.

What is the process if another team would also like to claim this idea?

We had a very specific Grant proposal that addressed the communication w/ delegates challenge which can be viewed here:

However that funding tranche has been depleted. We will still be continuing this some form and some of the requirements make sense to be be augmented into our original spec.
