How to limit the downloading media for Channels?

It is retrieving all the media since channel had been created. Is there any option to limit the media downloading for channels? Like if I want to download only last 300 media files with any type for particular channel, Or I can set the time-stamp to limit. like last 30 days media.
Please suggest the solution, because it is downloading the GBs of files.
