Use hdparm to setup hard drive power management #2

  • Use hdparm in the power management script to configure the hard driver for power optimisation, reduce spinning time, make the disk sleep at boot as I don't use it actively, etc
  • Delete the tlp config folder, I do not use it anymore
  • Check if the service can execute multiple scripts. So one script is makes the tuning as suggested by powertop, another one disables the turbo boost, and the third one configures the disks with hdparm
