mem-cli

A memcache client

Installation

$ npm install -g mem-cli

For now clone and:

$ npm install
$ ./bin/mem-cli

About

This is a simple memcache client write by node.js just a few common functions.

Features

Small set of features so far:

  • get
  • set
  • keys
  • stats

Built-ins

Currently the following built-ins are available:

  • keys * -- show all memcache keys
  • stats items -- show all memcache items

Sourcing

You may source files much like you do with require() in node, support you have "test.js", you may load it with either of the following:

var MemcacheClient = require('./lib/client');

MemCli = new MemcacheClient();

MemCli.start();

test the demo

▸ test.js
memcache 192.168.1.73:12001 >

Usage

need help.

$ mem-cli --help

connect to a remote memcached server.

$ mem-cli -h [remote host] -p [port]

get mem-cli version.

$ mem-cli -v
0.0x

memcache client usage

$  mem-cli -h 192.168.1.73 -p 12002
memcache 192.168.1.73:12002 >
▸ get key
"value"
▸ set key new_value
STORED
▸ keys *
"key"
"key1"
"key2"
"key3"
"key4"
▸ stats
...
