Permission issue on bound directory on Samsung T-550

Installation of Octoprint fails with "Operation not permitted".

It fails on shutils.copy2 from build scripts that are associated with octoprint install scripts. "Operation not permitted" as it cannot apply permissions to dst copied files.

After failed installation, I went to Settings and enabled openssh server to try and replicate the issue.

Connecting to the ssh server I tried to chmod any of the files/dirs and it doesn't apply anything and also doesn't return errors.

Changing the bound directories from context.getExternalFilesDir(null) to internal storage /data/data/com.octo4a/files/ solves the issue and installation succeeded.

Any idea how to solve the missing permissions?
Or is there any reason to not run on the internal storage?
