change aspect ratio for camera server

I am running octo4a on a google pixel 2 the included camera server is great that it works in the background but I cannot change the aspect ratio or the resolution either through webpage or in the app itself.

cannot get the flash to work either

I am running android 11

I have tried to find other apps that will work but they require focus on the app as soon as i switch off the other apps the stream freezes.

i found an alternative camera app.

ip webcam on playstore. it will dim front camera running in background but will work fine with rear camera.

its not ideal, would prefer if built in camera server worked better but am grateful for the functionality :)
