The "Place a Bid on this Task" section of the "Browse Tasks" bid page states that:
You will be able to edit your bid until the task is assigned to someone.Unfortunately there are currently no interface controls to actually make an edit on an existing bid. This would be a very welcome addition especially if you have fat fingers like me ;-).
