I installed and configured as described, and the MIDI keyboard works. The pad lights flash in time with the beat (thanks! really cool), but flash on and off very rapidly when paused, which I'm not sure is intentional or not.
The main problem
None of the DAW functions work, including the Play/Pause buttons, pots, etc. Something I did notice is when I press the play button, it works once, and then stops working.
It's the same with the flickering pad lights, which only start flickering after playing and pausing the track for the first time. They stop flickering when the track plays, but go back to flickering when paused.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Please let me know.

This appeared after the FL 21 update, so I'll have to check it.
About the buttons not working, please attach a screenshot of the MIDI Settings tab inside FL. Also compare those settings with the ones in the Configuration section of the read-me.
