BSB-LAN still supports the WiFiSPI solution to add WiFi connection by using an ES8266 as a wireless adapter. When I tried this solution several years ago, it was okay for using WiFi where LAN was not an option. However, since BSB-LAN now runs on ESP32 devices for a while now, I wanted to ask if there is anybody out there still using this hardware combination and what are your experiences with it.
If you are using BSB-LAN on the Arduino Due in conjunction with an ESP8266 for accessing WiFi, what are your experiences?
I'm currently using it and I'm happy with it.

I'm currently using it, but plan to migrate to an ESP32

I have been using it, but was not satisfied, so I switched back to LAN
