Input data: OFFLINE_SEASALT #2340
Comments
Thanks for your patience @NatalliaMiatselskaya, Most of us were at the IGC11 meeting earlier in June. Tagging @yidant who can verify if the data is corrupted. |
Thank you. The data are not corrupted. They are inappropriate. The files for 2019/11 and for 2019/12 contain parameters |
Thanks @NatalliaMiatselskaya. I think there may have been some files where the total emissions weren't calculated. Tagging @yidant. |
Thanks @NatalliaMiatselskaya and @yantosca! I'll look into the files and might need to reproduce the files. |

What happened? What did you expect to happen?
My simulation can not read input data downloaded from http://geoschemdata.wustl.edu/ExtData/HEMCO/OFFLINE_SEASALT/v2019-01/0.25x0.3125/2019/11/ and http://geoschemdata.wustl.edu/ExtData/HEMCO/OFFLINE_SEASALT/v2019-01/0.25x0.3125/2019/12/.
What are the steps to reproduce the bug?
I can see that files in http://geoschemdata.wustl.edu/ExtData/HEMCO/OFFLINE_SEASALT/v2019-01/0.25x0.3125/2019/11/ and http://geoschemdata.wustl.edu/ExtData/HEMCO/OFFLINE_SEASALT/v2019-01/0.25x0.3125/2019/12/ are significantly larger than in /2019/10, /2019/09, ..., /2020/01, 2020/02... I used cdo to see the content of files. I see that there are parameters EmisBrSALC_Natural, EmisSALC_Natural, EmisBrSALA_Natural, EmisSALA_Natural, EmisBr2_Natural for 2019/11 and 2019/12 instead of SALC_TOTAL and SALA_TOTAL for all other months.
