From quick looking at occurrences of mihi in BHL it seems that most of the time it designates the end of a canonical form, but in some rare cases includes authorship as well.

In some rare occasions mihi can be in the middle of infraspecific names as well, but it seem to be very rare.

@dimus dimus changed the title Use mihi (annotation meaning my, for me) is useful to mark the end of a scientif name. Use mihi (annotation meaning my, for me) as a marking of the end of a scientif name. Aug 22, 2022
