I really like this addon, it tends to do a pretty good job with most things I throw at it. I do have a few mild annoyances with it though, the main one being the lack of an option to set what the root node should be in the resulting escn file. I know you can change it with the import panel in Godot, but I'd rather be able to get it out of the way with the addon so I could leverage the operator presets in Blender, making one for each type of object I might want to export.

Some times they will be spatials, like the default, but quite often they are kinematic bodies or static bodies. And many times I am exporting stuff and passing them off to another guy I am working with, and it would be nice if they could use things as intended without us having to waste time communicating what each thing should be and messing with tweaking settings and reimporting.
