This has been on my mind, for some time, almost a year . . .
I 100 % agree, say visual script should never been translated to GDScript, bec. the two are similar, having learned visual code, one doesn't need to then learn written code, mean GDScript, the two are similar, in logic, structure, so on . . .
What I have been thinking, was there might be a need to have a visual script to C# / Native . . The idea, the difference between the two is big enough, it's not possible to learn C#, or say Native, from visual code, atm . . .
I think there's SOME good reason, for doing this, ie. as a teaching tool, and, to help teams work better, together . . It'd also make visual code into a better place, to learn more powerful written code systems . . . I think it'd help people not only learn GDScript, also C#, perhaps even Native :-OO Main goal, would be C# . . However, it's complicated, and, need some thought, perhaps it's not that useful, it's one of those things, where is it a good idea, or not, not sure . . . Question is also, why one would want to learn C#, from visual script, for instance, one might learn it from books, not sure . . .
I think, only place where visual script, to written code, makes any sense, would be a --> C# feature . . However, don't really know, if it'd that much used, or, if there'd be any purpose, beyond learning C#, or, perhaps seeing what written code looks like, etc . .
Is this a dumb feature, for me mostly makes 80 % sense, perhaps even 90 %, but, is that enough . .
