I'd like to hear from you in regards of the Windows setup. I'm on Linux 99% of the time, but I've got several computers of course so I tested it on Windows 10 but your mileage may vary :) Also my next micro project turned out to be a bigger feat than I anticipated. Despite my best efforts to peel away layers of complexity. You can check out the progress on a separate branch called "nano". I hereby RFC from you. But be warned though I cannot do anything with: why don't use such and such framework... This repository was started with the intent to showcase real, honest, classic, unbiased programming, with the best possible performance to achieve in mind. Something that is getting more and more endangered nowadays... php-showcase is my passion project, and not my daily job! The two are different dimensions, requiring a different tool set and mindset. I do dare to experiment, and challenge myself with (sometimes, but not always) unnecessary self-imposed restrictions. |
