Wouldn't that mean you'd have a bunch of clusters with just one marker in it?
Not sure I see the purpose of this, but if you feel there's a need for it, please explain it further in a new issue in our new fork, this repository isn't maintained anymore: https://github.com/gmaps-marker-clusterer/gmaps-marker-clusterer
