Incorrect regular font weight (400) on Safari

Roboto Flex with 400 font weight is rendered too thin on Safari.
It is only reproducible when the font weight is exactly 400.

Comparison on the Google Fonts page (I added font weight 399 and 401 for comparison):

Spec:
Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400)
Safari Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.12)

This is not a font bug.
