v9 Upgrade - InternalModifier type replacement

I'm looking to upgrade to v9 but couldn't find documentation for how I should rewrite my dateRangeModifiers function to implement display of multiple ranges on a calendar. InternalModifier is gone, so this snippet no longer works:

Thank you! I'd been monitoring the PR and attempting to use SelectionState, but simple replacements are still giving errors as shown in the above screenshots. I updated from v8.10.1 to v9.2.1.

Upgrading the above to the latest version yields this error instead for SelectionState.range_end ~ range_start:

Type 'SelectionState.range_end | SelectionState.range_middle | SelectionState.range_start' does not satisfy the constraint 'number | unique symbol | "length" | "toString" | "concat" | "slice" | "indexOf" | "lastIndexOf" | "includes" | "at" | "charAt" | "charCodeAt" | "localeCompare" | "match" | "replace" | ... 37 more ... | "valueOf"'.
