I just successfully dumped by EEPROM on a Pi 3b by adding #include <string.h> in XboxI2C.c and selecting "make p2" when prompted.

Yeah it worked fine on the pi3 with the "alternative" command in guide

I had success reading the eeprom with my Pi4. I had to compile a newer version of bcm2853. I used v1.60

i included instructions for getting rpi4 working here as well as notes about the 1.6/1.6b motherboard
