I keep getting the following errors (990483d) when trying to use the code in Visual Studio Code. Compile with maven appears to work but run and debug in VS fails due to this. What am I doing wrong?

There are many other warnings too.

'_' is a keyword from source level 9 onwards, cannot be used as identifier

Looks like you are using Java version <= 8. If you have Java 21 installed, check PATHs and the SDK language level?
