I want to replace my use of mime.ExtensionsByType with filetype because filetype understands more types (e.g. HEIF). However there's not currently a function in filetype that returns a Type by MIME. I'll send a PR.

I agree with that, it should be a equivalent for GetType(ext string)

But, does MIME and types.Type was corresponding ？

mimetype has this functionality: https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/gabriel-vasile/mimetype?tab=doc#MIME.Extension
