License? #1
Comments
Hi, we hit the same issue. Our project is licensed under Apache and we recently made a change to add brotli compression and realized that this package is licensed under GPLv3. Will you consider moving to something that is more common on hackage like MIT or BSD? |

Although brotli itself is MIT-licensed, the Haskell brotli library that provides bindings to it is GPL-licensed, so we cannot use it unless we get a response on haskell-hvr/brotli#1.

No response for a year 👎 |

Hi, thanks for this package. This looks like the haskell brotli bindings that I've been waiting for 👍
I noticed that the license is GPL3. Is this intentional? The brotli C library is MIT and your "brotli-conduit" package is BSD3, and a bunch of your other released packages are MIT/BSD.
Would you consider changing the license of this package to be non-copyleft?
