Would be nice to have it. It's not straightforward, just setting a flag in the resulting JSON isn't enough. The program needs to also be able to sign and push nostr events.

Since it's not directly related to lnaddr it can be hidden behind a conditional compilation tag but I don't have any strong opinions about it.

Hi @rkfg, good to see your issue here. I've looked into it a while ago but haven't gotten to it yet. But this is definitely a feature that this repo would benefit from, and to revive work here as well.
I will try and get to it.

When it's done and working, consider my bounty, 200k sats. I'm not in a hurry really, barely use nostr but I think this feature would be of great use for anyone running LN on the less powerful hardware. Installing the entire LNBits just for that is too much!

I haven't used nostr for a long time and I'm not really interested in it now given that it still doesn't work reliably for me. But if you implement it I'm sure it will be useful!
