[BUG] Trim tool fails at removing second circle intersection

I just tried out the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EJb969q5jk tutorial, and somehow the trim tool is not recognizing the circle as soon as i removed the first part being enclosed by the rectangle. So the step at 03:03 is not working anymore.
Also the plugin is throwing an exception (see screenshot) when trying to click on the circle.

I've tried to replicate this bug both on PC and Mac to no avail... _

I'm using arch linux with wayland (plasma). The used python version is 3.11.3. I installed the python solvespace module with pip install py-slvs.

I can replicate it on two different arch laptops.

I have the same problem with the second trimming of the circle. :(
Another attempt with two arcs, instead of one circle, ended in an incorrect selection of the arcs. After creating the first arc, hovering over it with the mouse does not show it as selected. Only after a second arc has been drawn (or a circle has been trimmed), the first arc is selected by hovering the mouse over the second arc. :(
Well, it is only experimental. :)
