I would love to use that. Could see myself implementing quite a few automations on top of that. E.g. notifications for very high screen time or weekly summaries of screen time. And of course it could be great to analyze the data as the native options in iOS are rather limited. |

Today I wanted to quick experiment with that and provide some basic intel as sensor but apparently the screen time API (3 separate frameworks) do not provide phone usage information, it only allows to set app restrictions and things as such, for more info: |

I was wondering about the idea of collecting the details from the Screen time API.
Do people think it would be useful?
My thoughts are things like getting alerts when your kids have used X about of time in an app. Enabling more direct involvement in teaching the kids healthy usage rather than relying on software to be the nanny.
Also would be good to include my own usage in my dashboard. Make sure I am maintaining a healthy work life balance. Working from home it is easy to go down a rabbit hole. Unless I check my screen time manually, I never know.
