Hello! Do you have the assembly instructions for your LED Matrix illumination system? We currently set it up using an Arduino, but would like to simplify the electrical connection. Perhaps it could be powered using a smaller trinket controller device? Also, it gets quite hot, since we use it at full brightness in white. Have you implemented any heat dissipation device?

Hi! Instruction for what aspect of the assembly? Rinni from our lab has designed our own PCB to simplify the electrical and optomechanical connection: https://github.com/rinnibhan/LED-Array-PCB. We ordered 15 pcs at around $45/ea.

Since we have been using only 10%-20% brightness we have not added heatsinks, although the new design does make it easier to add a heatsink on the back.
