Project size limits

Does FMTM have a limit to the size of a project that can be created?

Yes, we do have a limit, but it's quite large!

• Warning if >100m².
• Limit of >1000m². We could look at making this configurable if the use case arises.

Please do let us know if you need to create projects larger than this currently implemented limit 😄

Additional Considerations

• raw-data-api has a limit of 200m² to get a data extract for FMTM.
• Anything larger and it's quite a bespoke use case, so we will ask the user to upload their own extract.
• This limit is needed because we will get our data extracts in flatgeobuf format, unzipped.
• To facilitate we need a limit to prevent downloading and saving huge data extracts.
