Relative path to the parent folder for building proto files

Hi, is there any way I can use the relative path to the parent folder?

tonic_build::configure()
        .build_server(true)
        .compile(&["../proto/auth.proto"], &["proto"])?;

I get an error when i build

Error: Custom { kind: Other, error: "protoc failed: Could not make proto path relative: ../proto/auth.proto: No such file or directory\n" }

Fixed it via add protoc_arg()

tonic_build::configure()
        .build_server(true)
        .protoc_arg("-I=../proto")
        .compile(&["auth.proto"], &["proto"])?;
