CONUS404 variable derivation for NOAA (PREC_ACC_NC, PWAT, IVT)

I understand that you helped provide NOAA with some data files coming out of the CONUS404 historical simulation. Some example file names of the files that were provided are:

• PREC_ACC_NC_199906_CONUS404.nc (15 minute time step)
• PWAT_200006_CONUS404.nc (15 minute time step)
• IVT_200708_CONUS404.nc (hourly time step)

We wanted to ask you how you produced each of these files so that NOAA can hopefully replicate how you built these files for future CONUS404 data releases. We had a few questions we were hoping you could help us answer:

1. I believe the PREC_ACC_NC data is taken directly from the auxhist24 output - is that right?

2. Since the PWAT data are at a 15 minute time interval, I am thinking these were derived from auxhist24 - is that correct? If so, what data variables and formulas did you use to calculate PWAT from the variables in those files?

3. The IVT data is an at hourly time step, so I am guessing it was derived from wrfout files - again, is this correct? If so, what data variables and formulas did you use to calculate PWAT from the variables in those files?

If you have any links to code snippets or scripts you used to calculate these new variables, that would be very helpful too! Thanks!
