drm test works with intel but not Nvidia #367
Comments
I have no machines with NVIDIA adapters readily available, so can't reproduce the bug in any way. |
Hi, thanks for the reply Too bad you can't access a NVidia card,
and glxinfo gives
Maybe this will give you an idea? Thanks. |
Nope, not really. That "pipe error" usually means plugin crashed, but there is no information about why it crashed and how. |
Borrowed a machine with NVIDIA GTX 980, got there Debian testing installed (NVIDIA driver 384.98), got PepperFlash from Zako ChromeOS image, and DRM works there. Used Adobe's DRM test page. So, I can't reproduce the issue. Try to remove |
I built freshplayerplugin (commit 4a29ab5 before issue #366) and used it with Chrome OS's flash for the drm test at http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/SVP/SampleVideoPlayer_FP.html
(Firefox 57)
It works in one machine with intel GPU (ivybridge mobile) but not in another with the discrete Nvidia GPU (gtx1070), the box just keep spinning forever, disabling/enabling vdpau makes no difference.
OS is Ubuntu 16.04.3 64 bits in both cases
