https://github.com/ifwe/tasr/commits/new-master contains recent bug fixes/improvements. My thoughts:

Document any changes, add this to repo (NEWS.md/UPGRADING.md) and release nodes
Get unit tests running in CI (e.g. Travis CI)
Publish a github release (and old-master branch) for the previous github source. (Unfortunately, the two branches have difficult to resolve merge conflicts)
Publish a 1.x github release for new-master
Pin the pylint version. Add tasr/ to PYTHONPATH so that imports resolve (see scripts/setup)
