So if you have a weak hero with low spell power, you should suffer and carefully choose the target for your spells. This is by design. |

I suggest to adjust the duration of a spell's turn to "an actual turn" rather than "the current turn".
In the example, the Cyclops troop was paralyzed for one turn.
This troop is the fastest of the troops on the battlefield and played before being paralyzed.
Since the spell only lasts for the current turn, the spell will no longer be active at the end of the current turn and the Cyclops troop will play first the next turn.
The spell was therefore cast for nothing.
