You're not missing anything. Indeed it would be great. I have been meaning to do this for some time but prioritizing other work. I'll see what I can do in the next week or so.

I have let this go for some time; sorry about that. I did start to write documentation, but it is not comprehensive. It's on the document-things branch.

Sometimes an example config says more then lots of documentation. Maybe you can add a real life example. Should take a lot less time then writing a full documentation.
