Sleep does not work actually. (i5 Horizon)

close the lid and wait for 15-20 seconds, and then check whether the fan is still spinning or not

i checked in every scenario i could imagine.

• closed the lid and waited 5 mins
• manually put into sleep using menu, and left the lid open

in that case the screen got black and after 10-15 second it again lighted up in the login screen.

• manually put to sleep and closed the lid
• put to sleep using power button and left lid open
• put to sleep using power button and closed the lid
  all of the above, once while charging, once while on battery.
  nothing seemed to work.

also the wifi was finding some trouble after i tried to put it to sleep. I put it to sleep, it wakes up automatically, and then wifi does not connect anymore. I had to restart.

one more thing maybe I should mention, if we close the lid, then the fan stops spinning after a few seconds, and stays stop for 2-3 sec, then starts again, then again stops after a few seconds for 2-3 sec, and so n, keeps repeating the same pattern.

I'm having the exact same issues with my i7 Horizon edition. Sleep is broken. Do notify me if you find a fix.

For the wifi, it is a problem with the internal wifi, use heliport instead

i saw them in the open core doccumentation, i tried them, does not work.

can you please guid how to use heli port ? instead of internal wifi ? just putting it into the login application ?

update: itlmw not running (i also tried putting itlmw.kext from your previous version of repo (20 dec 2020) but it too did not work.)

you need to enable/disable kexts in config.plist too. Add itlwn.kext to OC/Kexts and also add it under Kernel in config.plist and make sure it's enabled. Also disable airportitlwm.kext from config.plist

I deleted it and then a took a pc clean snapshot using proper tree, couldn't see the output properly, will try again and record

Sorry, was afk for a few days, @d-kanti nope i could check that out, it's the dgpu that's causing the issue, have to find a way to fix it.

@PhantomZNeuroX Ig it should work, it would be great if you can try it out. Make sure you have a backup incase something goes wrong.

Yes. also I am trying to update but am having a issue in that, first time I ran the Monterey installer, it created another partition named "Macintosh OS" or somethin like that and i booted to it, after a few mins of code the it restarted and then I picked MacOS and it showed me the Apple logo with a "x minuites remaining" but nothing happend I just booted to big sur

I don't think so. I don't think i did anything more than changing the serial no... It takes a little bit of time to sleep. Did you have it time enough ?

Hey I have one question do this efi works with mac os Catalina??
I have tried the mac OS big sur but there is an issue that when I turned on the bluetooth all my OS stops working second issue is that mic doesn't works and the last issue usb doesn't work my device is mi notebook 14 horizon edition please help me out.

Yup the EFI does work in Catalina. I have tested it. the bluetooth is unreliable I agree. it happens alot unfortunately there isn't a solution I have found for that. for the USB. can you check if the Left USB is working? also what version of macOS are you on?
