Terminal not responding to input ("s")

Even playing the game it does not work for me the mouse moves to the bottom os the game and when i press 's' nothing happens

Dear all... I have the same problem... i'm using win 8 and win 7.... the mouse pointing te dinosaur, the UI is opened, than all is locked... I try it using both cmd and PowerShell but nothing change. It seems that the terminal dose not see any input... probably the code is blocked in a loop before to wait fot the keyboard input...
Can somebody help me... ? thank's a lot

I'm having a similar issue. It loads the terminal UI but sits on "Reading genomes dir..." with Genome Stats "Loading...". No response to external input. Ideas?
