Hi Ivo, I will test the app on my GW-B5600 and my GBD-H1000 and come back to you. |

Hi, I've been using the app with 2 Edifice ECB-S100 (insane value watch btw ;) ) and apart from the reminders which the watch doesn't support, it seems to work flawlessly. Settings, alarms, timer, time sync, battery info... Very cool! And faster than the edifice app as well. |

Thanks for the info. I'll remove reminders from the app for that watch, and
will add it to the supported list.

Only thing I can think of to possibly improve is to allow both watches to
stay paired to the app, but no big deal. (Currently I have to "forget" one
watch to communicate with the other).

Thanks again for your feedback. Do you think you can add the time screen
screenshot for the ECB-S100 to this discussion? I like to see how the exact
name of the watch appears.
Regards,
Ivo

Thanks for reporting, and a great looking watch!
From the screenshot you sent me, looks like a few things are not working
/ compatible. There is no "Home Time", the battery reads wrong, and there
is no temperature reading. Do these appear on the official app? Also, does
your watch support reminders? I'll look into it's manual shortly.
Of course I like to add all functions for that watch, bit I do not have one
to try. Let us hope someone with this watch can add full functionality.
BTW, what version of the app are you using? Should be 13. You can see the
version by pressing on the (i) icon on the top -right of the initial screen

The app works great for almost everything :) -- Alarm and Chime , Timer ,
Time and various settings
However, some things do not work, but not sure how to report them, as I do
not have the right knowledge to provide logs.
Aside from that, I'm really happy with this app ! Thanks for your work !

Ok, no problem. I'll check the manual. No need to test. I'll get back to
you later.

Thanks for replying fast ! Yes I use v13 and the app correctly detects
"ECB-30" besides the "Forget" button !
I'll re-test the missing settings from the official Casio app later,
because as of now, I completely remove it as it was very intrusive
(mandatory Casio account and GPS location)
The watch (module 5686, btw) supports reminders but Casio app did not let
me test it (because I use Davx5 instead of a "real" Google account).
Your app, however, displays my calendar events 👍 , but does not seem to
send them to the watch...
I also pinned down a strange bug : If I enable "Time adjustment" from app
settings, and "Send to watch", from then, the watch does not ring anymore
(neither alarm, nor chime, nor timer). The only working beep working is the
button operation tone. To get the watch to a running state again, I have to
reset the watch to its factory settings.
I'll come back later with results from the official casio app...
Thanks again for your work !

- OK, so it seems like there are no reminders.
- Should have World Time, so you should be able to see the home time at the
bottom-left. Should day "Paris"
- Also, the name of the watch should be displayed in the center of the
screen: CASIO ECB-300D. Have you ever seen this?
- Have you seen the battery level something different than empty?
- What about functions like Phone Finder? Does that work?
Otherwise, you are not missing anything that the watch provides.
Regards,
Ivo

Well I did test the official Casio Watch again. The settings are quite a
pain to use (slooooow), but I did not see any temperature nor battery
display (it's not a "tough solar" casio btw)

About running actions, I think this can be done the same as "Triggering Immediate Time Adjustment" on your watch. See this section here. (Pressing the D button for at least 2 seconds will trigger the selected action). Let me know if this works for you. I'm surprised that the watch's name does not show on the Time screen. It is obtained the same way as the name in the bottom-left of the initial screen. For the auto-time sync, the watch should initiate the connection. You can observe this as the number of minutes after the hours of 12 AM, 6 AM, 12 PM, and 6 PM. This value can be seen on the "Settings" screen: So in this case, 12:25 PM for example. See if the watch attempts to connect during that minute, usually around 12:25:30. |

Ok, I just saw this in the manual. Basically, should be the same way as you
would force the watch to set it's time from the phone.
It would be great if I can borrow your watch or about a month. I will see
if I can get some of the other issues resolved, like home time, battery
level, etc. Send me a private message email at ***@***.***, and I
will give you my address. I'll pay for the return mail. I appreciate it.

I'd be very happy to lend you my watch if you're open to this proposition.

Ok, sorry about that. They make it difficult to post an email address.
My email address is the first letter of my first name followed by my last
name at gmail dot com. So "izivkov" at gmail dot com
You can also find in the app, if you go to Actions and then click on the
(i) icon next to "Set Prayar Alarm" action

Great to hear, and an awesome watch.
I'm am rewriting the app to bring it to modern Material3 design standard
and to make it more easy to maintain. It should take about 3-4 weeks, but
if you are ok with it, you will be one of the first place to test it.
Cheers

Can we get some feedback on that watches are working and what are not working?
Has anybody running this app on the GW-B5000 watches? I have not tested extensively on this watch. I am using GW-B5600 for development.
Please add your comments on your experience with other watched.
Thanks you,
