The thing is, you can draw a sort of riffs with it (I've connected the X cv to oscillator modulating another oscillators pitch and the Y cv to a filter cutoff the oscillators start to play with each other). I would be handy to be able to save those riffs and switch between them whenever they come to the end of their automation loop. Perhaps it would be a simpler thing to just make end-of-loop tricker out from which one could patch a command to a cv switch and have multiple XYPads with different riffs connected to the switch.
