 This in turn causes another problem, some of the style  elements for the card display are no longer visible as they are "hidden" by the panel. The workaround for this is included in the 
 custom theme by using the entry ```card-mod-view-yaml``` to revert the ha-card style. However this workaround only works on the desktop, not on the cast device - so you are still stuck with the defaults for the panel view, ie square corners and no shadow. It's not bad at all, but hopefully could be fixed in future.
