Working with CSVs on the Command Line is a very nice how-to post with a smooth introduction and meaningful examples. Written in 2013, not along ago, yet in the world of computing, the developments are undoubtedly enormous. While Miller can likely do most of it (unsure now for a few practical things like counting the number of columns or/and rows), there are certainly elements to take-with (and not away) from this source. Worth noting is also the minimalistic and thoughtful design/structure of the page.
