Viewed vs. Watched

Is there a way to identify if something is watched? I see that Plex Viewed is an option, but this is different.

Example:
Viewed - Played for 10 seconds
Watched - Movie played for >85% of total time

Why isn't 'Plex - Viewed by' enough? It checks Plex's watch history for records and returns users for which a record is found.

I want to delete once the movie is actually fully watched, and not just viewed. -- For whatever reason I have family that will watch 10, 20, 30 minutes at a time but have not fully watched the movie yet. And unfortunately in these cases those movies may get deleted before they fully watch.

But are you certain they get flagged too soon with that rule? In my experience, Plex only creates a watch record when it’s fully, or almost fully, watched.

Good question. I recently created the rule and have 1 movie that maintainerr tagged.

Plex "Play History" shows the movie "played", however Tautulli shows the user only played 10 minutes or 9% of the movie. -- However it sounds like you are saying it shouldn't show in Plex play history until its nearly fully watched. I may need to look into why Plex is showing barely watched stuff as played.
