Forte is now federated! 🥳

I am happy to announce that I have finally finished making forte federated. What this means is that we can now imagine all forte servers as one where users can listen to tracks from other servers and interact with each other without even dealing with extra work.

With federated servers it is now possible to search for items across servers, add friends from other servers, see album pages, listen to tracks, create mixed playlists and many more...

Server contents are only visible to other forte servers and they are not accesible from the outside world. If you want to submit your own federated server, please check out this page.

Use the latest docker-compose.yml to start listening!
