Find DBPTK Desktop logs at Help -> Logs menu.

Searching the error message it seems that you have different collations. DBPTK doesn't cope with this kind of situation.
You could see if this is the case and normalize the collations across the database or create a custom view to archive the data and resolve the collation via query.
