Error: Cannot find module '../build/Release/module'

Error: Cannot find module '../build/Release/module'.
i check in node_modules, there are folder 'Build' inside is-hidden-file folder but no file inside that folder.
any idea?

Are you on Windows? Do you have python and visual studio c++ installed?

Since when you install the package on Windows, it's supposed to build the native bindings into dependencies.
