We expect all community members to adhere to the following behavior standards:

Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Sexualized Behavior: Use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual advances of any kind.
- Harassment: Trolling, insulting, derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
- Public or Private Harassment: Harassment in public or private settings.
- Privacy Violation: Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
- Inappropriate Conduct: Any conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Community leaders are responsible for enforcing these standards and taking appropriate and fair corrective actions in response to inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful behavior.
Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject any contributions not aligned with this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces and when representing the community in public. Examples of representation include using official email addresses, posting via official social media accounts, or acting as appointed representatives at events.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior should be reported to the community leaders responsible for enforcement at kita@arthur.place. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of reporters of any incidents.
Community leaders will follow these Enforcement Guidelines in determining consequences for violations:
- Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or unprofessional behavior.
- Consequence: A private, written warning, providing clarity on the violation and an explanation of why it was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
- Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.
- Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior, including no interaction with involved parties for a specified period, both in community spaces and external channels. Violation may result in a temporary or permanent ban.
- Community Impact: A serious violation, including sustained inappropriate behavior.
- Consequence: A temporary ban from all community interactions and public communication for a specified period. No interaction with involved parties is allowed during this time. Violation may result in a permanent ban.
- Community Impact: A pattern of violating community standards, harassment, or aggression.
- Consequence: A permanent ban from all public interactions within the community.
