On 2024-11-05 at 10:27 UTC, @Popolechien reported errors accessing two ZIMs from library.kiwix.org:

https://library.kiwix.org/viewer#phet_ar_all_2023-04/A/gene-expression-essentials_ar.html (a PhET ZIM) displaying an empty progress bar forever and not loading
https://library.kiwix.org/viewer#thaki_ar_tech_tricks_2024-09/index.html (a youtube channel ZIM) displaying a blank page

I confirmed both behavior. I tested with different browsers and had the PhET issue on /content/ as well.

Both issues disappeared quickly after that (10:30 UTC). We dont know what happened.

Neither the Varnish frontend nor any of the two kiwix-serve pods were restarted or auto-restarted around that time
Varnish was responding to requests (no timeout/502/404)
We were getting part of the PhET ZIM at least as the progress bar was from the ZIM's HTML and JS
